I've been battling a nasty cold/flu so I've been out of commission for a better part of a week. I am the worst, most impatient sick person. Just ask my husband.
Since I am kind of in limbo with my current projects, I thought I would share a couple table runners that I made for family members. Table runners are great gifts because they are quick to make and easy to ship.
The first one I made for my mother-in-law.
Her living room and dining room space is open and airy and decorated in blues and yellows. I thought this would look nice in that space. The mostly white background with touches of green look fresh and crisp.
The other one was made for my aunt. Her house has lots of warm neutrals with deep cranberry. Oh, and she loves black so the combination of this one seemed right.
On a recent visit, I snapped a couple pictures of where she used it. It works perfectly in the music room which is decorated with all the colors I incorporated.
I think both the recipients of these table runners were pretty happy with their gifts. I need a few for my own home. Add that to the project list.
